Chile Wine Fest 2024

The Chile Wine Fest, held in Chile and organized by Wines of Chile, has established itself as one of the top events in the country, gathering the finest players in the local wine industry. This grand event includes tastings for consumers, educates local palates, and features renowned winemakers from some of the best wineries in the country.

This year, Wines of Chile in the U.S. had an important mission: to replicate this event in an iconic city like New York, ensuring maximum impact and high attendance from both industry professionals and consumers. This was no small feat, considering New York is a city with high expectations for its events, and Chilean wine competes with major producers such as France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, and more.

The brief that Simplicity received was to develop an effective campaign that included strong media communication while boosting attendance and ticket sales through social media. The challenge was significant, as it put the agency’s reputation and the ability to execute a campaign within a short time frame on the line, with 28 Chilean wineries showcasing over 150 wines.

After excellent coordination between the team and the client, the campaign came to life, including the creative concept, social media graphics, a digital media plan, a landing page for the event, email marketing, and a press release that was distributed on time.

The results exceeded original expectations and goals: over 130 wine industry specialists from New York attended, and more than 320 consumers purchased tickets, marking an unprecedented milestone and achieving one of the largest turnouts for an event of this kind in the U.S.
